Nick is Erie Social Club’s owner and proprietor, husband to Maggie, and Varnadad to Katie and Chris. Nick dreamed of opening a bar for years, and we love seeing his dream come true at the bar every day. Fun fact: Nick and Maggie worked for Disney (where they met) before moving to Colorado, and Nick’s first job was as a Jungle Cruise Skipper so he’s always ready to entertain (and has great Dad jokes) to keep you company at ESC! 

Maggie is ESC’s co-owner and Nick's partner in all things.  She works full time in the travel industry and loves co-hosting trivia nights at the bar.  Maggie's a yoga teacher and fitness enthusiast who can't get enough of Colorado all year round. You'll likely find her out for a run on the Erie trails or at the Erie Community Center working out or teaching cycle, body pump and barre classes.   

Chris and Sierra love exploring Colorado on the weekends with the newest Varnadoe edition, baby Emmie, and frequently try out whatever new specials are on the menu at ESC! 

Katie is our social media specialist and book club host, and trivia co-host with Maggie. She also enjoys our fantastic desserts and charcuterie boards with her fiance, Eli who is a Mines grad turned CU Boulder PhD student. 

Ollie is the family grand-doggie and takes full advantage of ESC's patio for maximum petting and bark-cuterie treats. He has a pretty awesome collection of bandanas to elevate his style, and is always looking for new friends to chase squirrels with.

Sparky and Trixie joined the ESC family as rescue dogs from the Dalmatian Rescue of Colorado. While we aren’t sure exactly what mix of breeds they are, they’re 100% Varnadoes and we love them with 110% of our hearts. Trixie is our princess puppy and loves getting love from everyone. Sparky is our scaredy-dog who loves protecting our yard from skunk intruders (but that’s a story for another day). They’re big fans of puppacinos and bark-cuterie from the bar patio.
